We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our kitchen team with passion and precision. As a key player in our culinary operation, you will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure our kitchen runs efficiently and delivers top-tier dining experiences.
Qualifications:
3+ Years Proven experience in an upscale, high-volume kitchen environment in a management position.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Expertise in various food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
A commitment to maintaining top-tier kitchen hygiene and safety standards.
Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Executive Chef to execute daily kitchen operations and special projects with excellence.
Lead, motivate, and support our hardworking culinary team, fostering a cooperative and high-performance environment.
Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation, ensuring a safe and hygienic workspace at all times.
Apply advanced food preparation techniques, demonstrating expertise in upscale dining to elevate the quality of every dish.
Remain composed under pressure, ensuring a calm and focused atmosphere during peak service times.
Manage kitchen inventory, strategically ordering ingredients to meet demand while minimizing waste and maintaining cost controls.
Oversee the preparation of a wide variety of foods, sauces, meats, seafood, and produce, in alignment with the Executive Chef’s directives.
Ensure that all food prepared meets The Farm Italy's high standards for quality and consistency, as established during training.
Supervise staff, oversee scheduling, and communicate proactively with the Executive Chef regarding staffing needs and potential changes.
Enforce safety standards, ensuring that kitchen equipment is used properly and safely, adhering to manufacturer instructions and workplace guidelines.
Oversee the upkeep and maintenance of kitchen equipment in collaboration with the Facilities Director.
Ensure stations are properly set up with all necessary supplies, prepared ahead of service to maintain a smooth workflow.
Oversee opening and closing procedures, ensuring the kitchen is ready for service and properly shut down following The Farm Italy's protocols and Health Department guidelines.
Ensure proper storage of food and ingredients, maintaining organization and safe, hygienic handling practices at all times.
Maintain a focus on professional development, assisting team members in growing their skills across multiple areas of the kitchen.
Work efficiently on your feet for the duration of your shift and be prepared to lift up to 15+ lbs as needed.
